During this period the firm has seen its order volume touching 700,000 mark each day of the week. Data released by Zomato for 2018 shows that Indians are very fond of chicken biryani, as they made it the most ordered and picked up dish through the app last year.
When it comes to placing the most number of orders, Ahmedabad topped the charts (among Tier II and III cities). In the Tier I category, Delhi/NCR took the lead. Apart from having a fabulous year, the company now has a presence in 118 cities.
Now coming to the point, recently a person ordered a chicken biryani on the food delivery app, but allegedly received his biryani without chicken.
