Indians love romantic stories. And when it comes to the loving gestures that the cricketers do, Indians go all ‘aww’.
Yuvraj Singh, the blue-eyed boy of Indian cricket, popped the question to model and actress Hazel Keech, and the country went into a state of euphoria. The much-celebrated wedding was followed keenly by the media and his fans. Recently, on the occasion of Keech’s birthday, Yuvraj posted this cute little message for his wife.
Singh started his career in 2000 when he became a part of the Indian ODI team. During the 2011 World Cup, he became the first player to take a 5-wicket haul and score a 50 in the same match in a World Cup. However, his career took a break in 2011 when he was detected with a cancerous tumor in the left wing. He underwent chemotherapy in the US and made a comeback in a Twenty20 match against New Zealand in September same year. He was also conferred the second highest award for a sportsperson, Arjuna Award, in 2012 and a Padmashri in 2014.
