Living at a time when leaders of the opposition party revel being “dynasts” on an international platform and proclaim it as a way of life in India, it is indeed a sigh of relief to find a handful of politicians who are against dynasties and the political evils that come with them.
The biggest example of such a politician is none other than the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. And, apart from him, Yogi Adityanath also follows this policy stringently.
In an earlier article, we acquainted you with the simple life led by Yogi Adityanath’s sister – how she hadn’t met him for the past 25 or 26 years, and despite being the owner of a small dhaba in the hills, how she is satisfied with her income and have high regards for her brother.
Now, you would be surprised to know that not only his sister but also his brother chooses to work and earn for himself rather than resting in the laurels of the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister. Yogi Adityanath’s brother, Shailendra Mohan, is a Subedar working with the Indian Army. He is currently deployed along the Line of Actual Control in the Mana border region of Uttarkhand.
Talking about his duty as a soldier, the valiant subedar with Garhwal scouts told India Today:
We carry out patrolling along the border throughout the year against any security challenge. This area is our homeland and we will protect it at any cost.
When asked about his message to his elder brother, all Shailendra Mohan – who met his brother only once after the latter took charge as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh – had to say was that Yogi Adityanath should perform all his duties honestly and serve the country upright to the best of his abilities.
It is to be noted that Yogi has three brothers – Manvendra Mohan, who is elder to him, and Shailendra and Mahendra Mohan being the younger ones.
