Yogi Adityanath Slams Reports Of Rebellion And Says That Hindu Yuva Vahini Is Not A Political Outfit

Published on 28 January, 2017 at 9:25 pm By

BJP MP Yogi Adityanath is not contesting against BJP in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Reports had initially revealed that the Gorakhpur MP was fielding candidates from his outfit, ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’, in some places.

Slamming the reports as “fake”, Adityanath stressed that he is campaigning for the BJP, which he described as “my party”.

Yogi Adityanath is one of the star campaigners for the party in the elections for the 403-seat assembly. He was among those who released the party manifesto along with BJP president Amit Shah.

Reports had said that Hindu Yuva Vahini have fielded candidates on six seats spread over three districts in eastern UP.

The seats are: Padrauna, Khadda, Kasya (all in Kushinagar), Paniyara (Gorakhpur) and Siswa and Pharenda (Maharajganj).

The outfit’s chief Sunil Singh reportedly said that the BJP insulted Adityanath. He said that the people in eastern UP wanted to see Yogi Adityanath as the CM candidate.

Adityanath, however, has clarified that Hindu Yuva Vahini is not a political outfit.
