This 13-Year-Old Haryana Girl Speaks Eight Foreign Languages, Including Japanese, And Lectures IAS Officers

Ever since the British established their rule over India, English is one of the most important languages in the country. Although the British rulers are long gone, English did not cease to enjoy its supremacy even in independent India. Every Indian today wishes to speak fluently in English. ‘Spoken English’ classes have cropped up in almost every corner of the country. Yet, villages and small towns have not been able to catch up as far as education in this foreign language is concerned.

Shattering conventions and all pre-conceived notions, Jahnvi Panwar of Malpur village of Samalkha in Haryana has emerged as a role model for many girls, who wish to study and excel in English. All of 13 years of age, Jahnvi’s superior English along with perfect American as well as British pronunciation will simply leave you amazed.

Jahnvi Panwar is definitely not “just another village girl”. At the tender age of 13, she has already passed her class 12 boards examination. In fact, the “wonder woman” holds the record of passing examinations for two consecutive classes within a single year!

Jahnvi’s love for languages arose at an early age because of her father, who used to acquaint her with various fruits and flowers in English. With time, Jahnvi’s love for the language got her started in speaking to everybody in English. Slowly but steadily, she started getting better and better at it. To catch the exact pronunciation she started watching english news channels and also logged onto video tutorials on the internet.

Jahnvi also has a Facebook page dedicated to teaching English, where she shares various videos of her teaching the language as well as delivering lectures.

Not just English, Jahnvi excels in French and Japanese as well. In fact, Jahnvi’s at such an early has addressed IAS officers in as many as eight states of India!

She aspires to become an IAS officer. Looking at her record, we may just find the youngest IAS officer in Janhvi. May she attain her goal.
