1. Dimple Yadav
Marriages are made in heaven, and, it is true for former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav, daughter of retired Army Col. S C Rawat. Despite opposition from father and Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav since Dimple was a Rajput, Akhilesh married her. Dimple has always remained the strong pillar of Akhilesh. She not only took all the household responsibilities but also participated in rallies and political campaigns.
2. Kiran Rao
Four years after his divorce with Reena, on December 28, 2005, Aamir married Kiran Rao, who had been an assistant to director Ashutosh Gowariker during the making of Lagaan. While Aamir khan loves Kiran Rao for being simple whereas Kiran Rao fell in love with his immense personality.
3. Amruta Fadnavis
Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis married Amruta Ranade in 2006, after an arranged marriage proposal. She used to call him sir before marriage. Despite her strong political family, she prefers simple down-to-earth living along with modern thinking. Professionally, Amruta Fadnavis is an associate vice-president with Axis Bank and used to head the business branch in Nagpur.
4. Natasha Poonawalla
Natasha Poonawalla, a socialite, an Economics graduate from the London School of Economics, is married to Adar, the only son of Villoo and Cyrus Poonawalla, the founder of Serum Institute of India, one of the largest vaccine manufacturing company in the world by number of doses produced. Natasha currently serves as the Executive Director of the Serum Institute.
5. Monicka Vadera
Robert Vadera’s cousin Monika Vadera married entrepreneur Tehseen Poonawalla. Their marriage witnessed attendance of some of the most powerful names in the country including Sonia Gandhi along with daughter Priyanka and Rahul, BJP patriarch LK Advani along with his daughter Pratibha, Feroze Varun Gandhi, former union ministers Salman Khursheed, Gurudas Kamat, Manish Tewari, Rehman Khan, Kamal Nath, and several leaders from the BJP.
6. Sharmila Thackeray
Sharmila is married to Raj Thackeray, the Chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena. Their family also includes a son named Amit Thackeray and a younger daughter named Urvashi Thackeray.
7. Anusha Bhagat
Anusha Bhagat is a banker who is married to author and columnist Chetan Bhagat, an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. She is currently working as chief operating officer in UBS. She was born and raised in Tamilian family in Chennai. The couple first met and fall in love with each during their college days in IIM.
8. Ritika Sajdeh
After a six-year old relationship, Ritika Sajdeh married cricketer Rohit Sharma. Rohit proposed to her on the Borivali sports club where he started his career. She was always present whenever Rohit played.
9. Priya Runchal
Priya Runchal met John while working out in a gym for the first time in 2010. And after his breakup with Bipasha, he was often seen with Priya Runchal. Though she was born and brought in Los Angeles, California, her entire family is originally from Kangra city located in Himachal Pradesh.
