Not a single day do human beings fail to amuse us. It is true that science and faith are in a constant tussle to explain our existence and give it meaning. These don’t necessarily walk hand-in-hand. But sometimes, the tiff between science and faith gives birth to some of the most bizarre incidents which might make you gasp.
In yet another clash between faith and science, an 80-year-old woman threw 9 coins at the engine of her plane for good luck. The superstitious passenger missed the hit 8 times but the last one got into the engine. The incident took place at Shanghai Pudong International Airport which caused a delay of 5 hours.
