1. Imran Khan and Avantika Malik
Bollywood superstar, Imran Khan, married his childhood sweetheart Avantika Malik got married on January 10, 2011. Their wedding card was a beautiful display of their playfulness and imaginative style. The card included two black and silver boxes that had 2011 written on them in words. One of the boxes offered tempting customized chocolates and the other one contained a year-planner diary, potpourri fragrance, and a pinwheel in it. The wedding details were written on a yellow paper that was stick to the pinwheel.
The box also contained a swipe card for the security and guest identification purposes. The reverse side of this swipe card was marked with the map of the wedding venue.
2. Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha
The stunning actress Dia Mirza married her long-time boyfriend, Sahil Sangha, according to Arya Samaj rituals and ceremonies on October 18, 2014. Sahil Sangha arrived in a horse-drawn carriage, wearing a white sherwani. The wedding took place at their farmhouse, decorated with lilies and orchids.
The subtle yet charming wedding invite included an off-white card with a beautiful floral print on one side, and a box of sweets.
3. Pulkit Samrat and Shweta Rohira
Bollywood newbie Pulkit Samrat married his long-time girlfriend, Shweta Rohira, in a destination wedding at Goa on November 3, 2014. This couple took their love for each other to a whole new level by printing different cards, which had their caricatures on them, for all the occasions.
Salman Khan’s rakhi sister, Shweta also changed her name from Shweta to Kaira after the wedding.
4. Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Khemu
The wedding card had tasteful pink and gold roses printed on it, and was tied with a golden ribbon. The nawabi princess, Soha Ali Khan, and her beau, Kunal Khemu, had a very private wedding. They kept elegance as the mantra of their entire celebrations.
5. Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput
The news of their wedding came as a surprise. Shahid Kapoor, who had earlier dated Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, broke every women’s heart when he ended all the speculations and confirmed his wedding date.
The wedding card was designed by Delhi-based designer, Ravish Kapoor and Shahid himself. The wedding invite was in the combination of cream and turquoise, and had just a few hints of gold in it. The box had packets of tea and honey for the invitees, with the peacock design on the cover.
6. Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra
For their big fat wedding, the couple chose a royal square-shaped golden colored wedding card. It was printed with a special royal crest with their initials, R and S, on it. The lavish wedding invitation was designed by Ravish Kapoor.
The invite was placed inside a box with lord Ganesha’s face imprinted in the middle. Shlokas were also printed on the flaps of the card.
7. Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva
Their wedding card was one of the costliest cards ever made. You might get jealous pangs but crushed gemstones and real gold was used to make their card.
The cards had a unique-limited edition ‘Ganjifa’ painting for special invitees and was packed like a jewelry box made of velvet. The invitation and the bag carrying the card were made of handmade paper.
8. Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s marriage was the most beautiful occasion of 2007. The invitation of this grand affair included three golden boxes with two big, entwined ‘As’ drawn on them.
Their invitation included three boxes; the first box contained the invite, the second box had 24 pieces of mithai made from chocolate imported from Switzerland and the third one had an idol of lord Ganesha along with a poem penned by Amitabh Bachchan’s late father and poet, Harivansh Rai Bachchan.
9. Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani
Esha Deol married businessman Bharat Takhtani on June 29, 2012. The wedding card was so divine that it had gold plated initials placed inside a lotus motif, along with an Om and a swastika and images of Radha-Krishna printed on them.

Actor Akshay Kumar shared Asin and Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma’s wedding card on Twitter, as he received the first invite from them.
