In India, humans don’t rule the streets, the stray dogs are the real kings. You can love them or hate them but you can’t ignore them. If you try messing with them, you are doomed to face the consequences because they are always ready with their army.

With increase in the number of stray dogs and lack of shelter homes, they reside at every nukkad of the country.

Sadly, during a international marathon event in Bangalore, Wasihan, a runner,  got bit by a stray dog while he was leading the race.

The dog had been constantly following him throughout the race and menacingly closed in on him on a couple of occasions.

Later, he accelerated his momentum but the dog chased him right along Ambedkar Veedhi and onto the Cubbon Park. Eventually, the stubborn dog jumped over him and blocked his run.

The Ethiopian’s unfortunate day was over and in the end, he finished ninth.
