Vogue India has joined hands with Suhana Khan for their August issue. Suhana Khan, daughter of Indian actor Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) is often in news. While some believe that her popularity comes from SRK, others believe that she is a celeb in her own. And now Suhana has made it to the cover of one of the world’s most prestigious fashion magazines. But this might not be the best thing that has happened either to Suhana or to Vogue itself. Before we divulge any further let’s first have a look at the cover.
On August 1, 2018, Vogue India released its August issue and on the cover was the star kid Suhana Khan. Here is a post by Vogue India unveiling their August issue:

Unfortunately, Vogue India’s idea behind putting Suhana Khan on the cover did not reach its reader base like it wanted to. Many Vogue fans and followers discouraged the magazine’s choice of the cover girl. They also bashed the magazine for losing its integrity. This is how some of the fans commented on the post via their twitter handles:
A fan says she is never buying or subscribing to Vogue ever again!
I am never ever buying/subscribing vogue ever again !! It might not matter to them but if this trend continues there will be no one working to achieve anything in the film industry anymore. Nepotism (without talent and with shit looks) zindabad!!

Someone needs to fire Anita Shroff for ruining Vogue India.

They could’ve put Hima Das on the cover, but wait, her gold medal pales in comparison to Suhana’s achievements right?
Could’ve put Hima Das but wait all she has ever earned is a gold medal which is next to nothing compared to being a child born into a film family with a silver spoon in her mouth…well done

Vogue India has lost all its journalistic integrity.
What is WRONG with you guys?! No integrity left in any kind of journalism.

A Student and theater lover! How can this be enough to land someone on Vogue India’s cover feature?
Student, theatre lover, future star, daughter of a star who will probably finance all her movies till she actually becomes a ‘star’…. but yea hello Suhana Khan.

Evidently, there is a lot of outrage amongst netizens over this matter. Vogue always prides itself on promoting women from different walks of life for their contribution to the society. Do you think they have let themselves down this time?
