Often we witness many Bollywood personalities speaking their heart out on the social media. History knows that Bollywood celebs have been quite vocal about various issues that surround our society. Swara Bhasker is one such bold diva from the Bollywood industry, who is anything but shy when it comes to self-expression. Time and again the diva has spoken up for the greater good. And we know when she did! From shutting down the trolls related to her masturbation scene in Veere Di Wedding to getting Vivek Agnihotri’s Twitter account locked, the diva is a definition of fearless! By the way, Vivek Agnihotri’s reply to Swara Bhasker on the “Twitter account issue” is out in the open!
Yes! I am talking about filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri’s reply to Swara Bhasker. For those who have followed the news, Swara lodged a complaint to the Twitter authorities against an abusive Tweet made by the Hate Story director Vivek Agnihotri.
Let’s go back in time for a better understanding. Bold as ever, a few days back, Swara clearly expressed her discontent with the statement made by Kerala MLA, PC George against the Kerela Nun who was allegedly raped by Jalandhar Bishop Franco Mulackal. Swara took to her official Twitter handle and shared a tweet:
Absolutely shameful and disgusting!!!! Scum present across political spectrums and religious divides in India. Literally nauseating! https://t.co/zb8NkUaW5x

Now, the whole nation knows how Swara stood up for the Kathua rape case victim. But it seems that filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri couldn’t let this opportunity slip, and took a nasty jab at the Veere Di Wedding star. See what he said:
Taking a note of his abusive tweet, Swara gave a perfect reply to Vivek and even reported his account, see how she replied:
Vivek. Just want to point out that you are using the trauma of women who are rape survivors to slut shame and abuse in public a woman you don’t like. In the rare moments of sanity that may visit your brain – otherwise unhinged with hate- think about how low that is. #scum https://t.co/yOpo8nxWqS

It didn’t take long for Twitter to notice the issue and what happened next was obvious. Satisfied with Twitter’s swift action, Swara expressed her gratitude to Twitter via another tweet which she posted later on. Oh, for the record, the filmmaker had to take off the tweet too.
Thank you @TwitterIndia @TwitterSupport 4 taking cognisance of @vivekagnihotri ‘s abusive tweet. And making him delete it! No tolerance 4 cyber bullying & abuse of women on public platforms! (Or private – but one thing at a time) Thank u🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 #SayNoToBullying pic.twitter.com/psYyVil7EI

Now it seems that this Twitter “war” between Swara and Vivek has taken a nastier turn. Why, you ask? Well, Vivek Agnihotri has replied back to Swara Bhasker’s tweet in which she expressed her gratitude to Twitter. The actor clearly accused Swara of curbing his freedom of expression. See what he had to say:
Dear @ReallySwara, thnx for curbing my FoE. Very liberal, indeed. It’s given me strong motivation & made me more determined to defeat India’s enemies- #UrbanNaxals. Last time it was your mother who stopped my film at JNU. And you know what happened. Thnx for rejuvenating our fight https://t.co/Fh44wexuso

Well, given Swara’s personality, we can expect a bang on reply any time soon. Speaking of Vivek’s comment, we think that they were mean! What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
