Virat Kohli is no doubt one of the best cricketers in India’s history. Dhoni stepped down from his post as Team India’s captain and handed over the reins to Kohli keeping in mind the latter’s brilliance in cricket and the skills he has as a sportsman. Kohli has been living up to everyone’s expectations and the Indian cricket team is playing in one of its best forms these days. Defeating rival teams one after the other, the team is giving its fans uncountable excuses to celebrate.
The Indian skipper was recently in the news for hitting the 5th double ton of his career in the second Test match against Sri Lanka in the three-match Test series. Also, Kohli made to the headlines for completing his 50th international century across formats.
Team India’s run machine is now in the news after he met Manushi Chhillar at an event in Delhi. Manushi, the 20-year-old girl who brought back India’s pride after 17 years by winning the Miss World 2017 title, is one of the hottest topics on social media these days. Some are going crazy over her beauty and others are getting impressed by her intellect.
When Manushi met Virat, it looked as if she was all prepared to meet the India team’s captain. We all know and have praised the wonderful answer Manushi gave during the final question-answer round of Miss World 2017. But after the meeting between Manushi and Virat, we can say that the Haryana girl is not just good at giving answers but is also smart enough in raising intellectual questions.
The question that Manushi asked Virat after meeting him is going viral on the internet. Virat has always met girls who are already in love with him and are his big fans. But Manushi must have been the first girl who dared to ask him a question he never would have expected.
As reported by Catch News, here’s the question Manushi asked Virat:
“You are one of the best batsmen in the world today. You have been such an inspiration and you have really given a lot to the society. But there are a lot of young people who draw inspiration from you. How would like to give back, especially to children in the field of cricket?”
To this, Virat, without hesitating for a second replied with a perfect answer. The Indian skipper said:
“What’s very important to understand is, when you do what you do, and you express yourself on the field, it has to be genuine, it has to be from the heart. Otherwise, people find out that you are trying to pretend and they can never connect to you. I have never tried to be anyone else. I have always been myself. I have always mentioned people had a lot of issues with how I was, how I conducted myself. I never had problems with that. The moment I started to think that I need to change, is the only time that I changed.”
He further added:
“Everyone has to go through a mutual process to be where they get in life, to become more mature. What’s very important to understand is that one should never lose their identity, character, and personality. Because if you try to be someone else, you can never succeed and you can never inspire others.”
Manushi’s question to Virat is another proof of her intellect and the cricketer’s wonderful answer to her is the reason why he is regarded as one of best cricketers in the world.
