We have been eager to see two perfectionists of completely differently fields going to make our Diwali special, and it finally happened. Aamir Khan and Team India’s captain, Virat Kohli came together for a specially organized talk show to promote Aamir’s upcoming film ‘Secret Superstar’ starring ‘Dangal’ actress, Zaira Wasim. It was Diwali double dhamaka for all the fans where the cricketer opened up about his personal life, his fears, his ladylove Anushka Sharma and much more.
Out of all the questions that Aamir asked Virat, one went viral. The question was about the bowler that makes Virat nervous the most. Answering to Aamir Khan’s question, captain Kohli revealed that it’s Pakistani bowler, Mohammad Amir who makes him nervous.
Here’s what Virat exactly said while revealing this secret:
“In the recent times, Mohammad Amir of Pakistan. He is in the top two or three bowlers in the world and among the toughest I have played in my career. You have to be on your ‘A’ Game when you’re facing him or he will strike. Outstanding! Very good bowler!”

Mohammad Amir’s bowling has impressed Kohli a lot. Virat has praised the Pakistani cricketer in the past as well. At the time of Asia Cup in 2016, Virat had said:
“I would like to complement Mohammad Amir for the way he bowled. I actually congratulated him while he was bowling. I was so happy to play such an amazing spell. He is a world class bowler.”
Overwhelmed by Virat’s praise, here’s what the pacer said:
“Kohli’s praise made my day. It was generous of him what he said for me. It’s the sort of encouragement that you need and when it comes from a superstar like Virat, it means a lot. On the other hand, it’s a big challenge for me as well because it adds to my responsibility to prove that I am worth that praise. Even before the match, he used some good words for me. It was very kind of him.”
