The sudden decision by Anil Kumble of stepping down from the post of Team India’s head coach has raised many eyebrows. People are not happy about Kumble’s decision and want him to continue his services as the coach.
Kumble’s one-year contract expired at the end of the ICC Champions Trophy but he was given the option to travel with the team to the West Indies for the limited overs series, but Kumble declined. Numerous reports were already taking rounds about the tiff between Captain Kohli and Coach Kumble. However, cricket fans got some relief when Kohli gave an official statement stating that all the reports were false.
Unfortunately, Virat Kohli’s statement wasn’t true. Kumble has directly blamed Kohli for his resignation. In his Twitter post after stepping down, Kumble has said that the captain had problems with his style and techniques of coaching.
And now, a new report has emerged which states, as per the source, that there was a difference of opinion between Kohli and Kumble about winning the toss and batting. Usually, in these meetings, people decided whether to bat first or bowl first in case they win the toss. Kumble wanted India to bat first after winning the toss, but Kohli had a different opinion.

Some sources also said that Kumble always used to pull up players for lack of intensity and indiscipline. Virat was also against this behavior of Kumble, as he believed that the atmosphere is spoiled and insecurity is created.
Another shocking revelation has come to light that says that Kohli abused Anil Kumble two days before the India vs Pakistan final. Virat also told Kumble that other cricketers of the team didn’t want him to continue as the coach. This made Kumble furious, after which he said, “Enough is enough”.
However, neither Anil Kumble nor Virat Kohli has given any official statement on this news. Do you think it’s true? Do share your views in the comments section below!
