Vijay Mallya, the king of good times, is certainly going through a bad phase. The business tycoon, though apparently out on bail, is wanted in connection with a number of charges, including defaulting on loans amounting to ₹9,000 crore.
In 2013, his company faced tremendous loss, and the Kingfisher employees were paid zero salaries for 15 months. After this fiasco, his image as a businessman was blatantly targeted, and completely shattered.
Vijay Mallya is currently residing in the United Kingdom, and now, his surprising presence at the ICC Champions Trophy is gathering eyeballs.
Yesterday, while he was entering the stadium to watch the India-South Africa match, a group of people started chanting, “chor, chor, chindi chor” and “Vijay Mallya chor hai“
Mallya didn’t retaliate and looked undisturbed. This is what happened.

Even his son, Siddharth, was not spared. He was greeted with cries of “chor ka beta chor“.
Previously, it was reported that he caused a lot of embarrassment for the Indian cricket team when he dropped in at Virat Kohli Foundation’s ‘Charity Dinner’, and Kohli gave him a cold shoulder.
