In a video that is going viral on social media, a Delhi Cop is seen explaining to a group of people, how to prevent the fire that is caused by LPG leaks.
The video which was posted on Facebook on March 19 and in the past 2 days has already garnered over 37k likes and over 2 lakh shares.
In the video, Delhi Policeman Sushil Kumar is seen explaining to a group of people the correct way to extinguish a fire that is caused by a cylinder leak and says that the knowledge can save many lives.
In the video, he suggests that people should wrap a wet cloth tightly around a cylinder fire, as the lack of oxygen will extinguish it.
Though he also advises people to only do this after calling the emergency services.
LPG cylinders have become a lifeline for thousands of people across India, but as it is highly flammable it is also one of the most common causes of fires across India.
