India celebrated its 70th Republic Day on January 26 with an annual parade showcasing the country’s rich cultural heritage and traditions. This time the chief guest at the prestigious event was South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, who was invited by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Like rest of the country, Bollywood too celebrated 70th Republic Day with many celebrities taking to social media to wish their fans and followers. Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, John Abraham, and many other B-Town celebs wish their fans with congratulatory messages.
Vicky Kaushal, who is currently riding high on the success of recently released Uri- The Surgical Strike, celebrated the national affair in a grand style. On January 26, Vicky Kaushal along with Yami Gautam and Varun Dhawan were at the Wagah border with BSF jawans and a crowd of over 28000 people. Varun Dhawan was also there to perform live for the soldiers.
The actor took to social media and shared a video of him asking the crowd, “How’s the Josh?” This is also a popular dialogue from his recent film. To this the crowd replied with “High, sir.” Check out the video below.
