The Bollywood divas are not those who act but also serves as inspiration for many. There are many B-Town celebrities who have given up their habit of non-vegetarian diet and urges their fans to do the same. They have taken up a vegan or vegetarian diet. Though it has helped in developing their health, some of them has taken this decision to support their compassion for animals. Here is the list of 7 Bollywood celebrities who have done this:

This gorgeous diva adopted a vegetarian diet many years back. However, she gave up dairy in 2017. Since then, she is enjoying a vegan lifestyle. She went vegan not only for health reasons but also because of her compassion towards animals.

2. Anushka Sharma

She changed to a vegetarian diet and since then her health has improved. Though it was hard for her, she took this decision to switch.

3. Richa Chadda

This actress always advocates for a vegan lifestyle. She has also launched a campaign in collaboration with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). It’s about persuading people to switch to vegan diet.

4. Alia Bhatt



This adorable actress was named as the hottest vegetarian by PETA in 2017. She made the switch in 2015. In her own words, she feels ‘lighter, happier and cooler’ after changing her diet.

5. Sonakshi Sinha

She is such an actress who went through an inspiring fat-to-fit journey. She lost her weight after shifting to a vegan diet. This actress admits that her metabolism has improved since.

6. Jacqueline Fernandez

This actress has left the pleasure of meat or dairy for a healthy lifestyle a few years back. She believes in organic food and wholesome diet. To spread this message of healthy living, she started her restaurant in Mumbai where people are served healthy vegan food.

7. Kangana Ranaut

This non-veg lover excluded meat and dairy products from her diet completely in 2013. Presently, she depends a lot on the South Indian vegetable dishes cooked with coconut milk. She confessed that the shift has helped in calming her down.
