The tabloids are hot with buzz from Dharma’s next venture, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya’- a sequel to ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya’. The song ‘Tamma Tamma’ from the 90’s has been remixed and re-introduced in 2017 with Alia and Varun in the lead.
For the promotions, Varun-Alia had posted a video of Madhuri Dixit teaching them a step or two on ‘Tamma Tamma’.
Madhuri, who was the original Tamma girl, is not dancing for the first time with Varun. On the launch of the song, Varun confessed how, as a child, he danced with Madhuri in a bus when she was shooting for David Dhawan’s movie Yaarana in 1995.
When he showed Madhuri the new version of ‘Tamma Tamma’, Madhuri couldn’t forget the dance she had years back with baby Varun.
‘The way you danced with me in the bus, you haven’t danced like that till now on screen. You didn’t care who I was, you were just enjoying yourself. The day you dance that way, you will be free,” Varun revealed while recalling Madhuri’s words to him.

In fact, Varun discloses that doing this song was somewhat in his childhood wishlist.
“It might sound freaky but I knew I would do this song someday in my career. When I was 16-years-old, I was working out with Sanjay Dutt in his gym. There was this Tamma Tamma remix version written on a CD. I asked him if I could play it. When I started hearing the beats, I looked at Sanju sir and then thought to myself, ‘Dude, if one day I do this song, what will happen! People will go crazy! It has happened now. If you dream it, it can happen,” says Varun on the launch of Tamma Tamma Again.
Guess, Madhuri-Sanjay would be one pair of proud stars right now.
