The new season of Indian Premier League is back in the grid and we are super thrilled to see our favorite celebrities perform at its grand premiere. Eminent celebrities come together to give us an experience of a lifetime with their transfixing performances at this most awaited cricketing event.

This season is scheduled to kick off on April 7 with a dynamic line-up of performances.  The opening night is about to be glammed up with numerous acts prepared by Bollywood actors including Jacqueline Fernandez, Parineeti Chopra, Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh.

The starry quotient is about to ace up the tournament in less than a week time and there is already a lot of buzz about the celebrity performances. Apparently, it was revealed earlier that Padmaavat actor, Ranveer Singh was the highest paid actor to perform at the ceremony, but now things might have been twisted a little for him.

According to the sources, Ranveer Singh would be paid a whooping Rs 5 crore for his 15 minutes performance at the premiere but there is one actor who is getting paid more than him for his performance at the premiere.

But as per recent reports, October actor Varun Dhawan will be paid more than Ranveer Singh for his entertaining performance at the premiere. Varun Dhawan has become the highest paid actor at the IPL 2018 ceremony receiving approximately Rs 6 crore for his act.

The organizers disclosed that the Judwaa 2 actor has a better connection with the masses than the other younger generation and has maximum number of chartbusters in his pocket. The actor is currently shooting his film Sui Dhaga and will take two days break from the shoot to rehearse for the performance.

Varun Dhawan will perform at his peppy hits from his current films including Judwaa 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. His former co-star Jacqueline Fernandez will also be sharing the stage with him in few of the acts. We have already seen him making his crowd drool over him at the Dream Team tour.

It will be interesting to see the opening ceremony with our favorite celebrities perform on the stage on April 7. We are waiting to see if Varun Dhawan will be able to steal the show from Ranveer  Singh or not?!
