Fake R&AW Officer Busted By UP Police In Varanasi

Uttar Pradesh police have arrested a person in Varanasi who was claiming to be a senior R&AW (Research and Analysis Wing) Officer in the Prime Minister’s Office.

Anagh Pandey was apprehended by Manduadih ASO Farid Ahmed, when he was trying to forcefully enter the local Shiv temple by showing his RAW card.

When he was stopped, he bullied the police offers on duty by showing his fake ASP R&AW card.

On suspicion, he was taken to police station where his identity card was found to be fake.



The police have also found two more fake cards from him – UNI (Press) and UP Crime Control Committee – Secretary.

The fake ASP RAW card found in his custody has the address of The PMO, Raisina Hills.

Anagh told the police that he was studying for RAW exams, but when he could not pass the exam, he decided to turn into a fake ASP. He also said that his father was a district magistrate. He has done his MBA from Varanasi.
