Many people questioned if Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli would be able to play the May 18 match against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), especially because he had injured his hand in the previous match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

Though after the KKR match Virat made it clear he would play no matter what, he had to overcome immense physical pain to be able to be part of it.

In the 50th match of IPL 2016, the rain-truncated clash was restricted to just 15 overs a-side. Hitting even a half century would have been a huge effort given pitch conditions and pressure.

But we are talking about Virat Kohli. The swashbuckling batsman proved why he is the young untamed beast of a batsman.

Virat went on slamming his fourth century of the IPL and create yet another record.

Being a crucial match for RCB, Kohli and Chris Gail’s magnificent partnership made sure that the team registered a dominating victory of 82 runs.

Kohli’s 113 off 50 balls yet again made him into a Twitter sensation with some of the most famous cricketing names showering praises on him.

His fourth century in a single IPL season, seemed to have left fellow IPL players and team management in awe.

Some expressed their delight, some begged for mercy when they met on the ground, and one guy simply requested him to stop embarrassing batsmen of the world.

Being the only player to score more than 800 runs in a single edition of IPL, Kohli has also shattered many records.

Hats of Mr. Virat, hats off!! May you make and break many more records in the years to come.
