The UN Charter, which is the seminal treaty of the United Nations, has now been translated into Sanskrit, thanks to Akhila Bharatiya Sanskrit Parishad secretary Dr. Jitendra Kumar Tripathi.
The news was broken by India’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Syed Akbaruddin who in a tweet thanked Dr. Tripathi for his effort.

The United Nations Charter was first signed on June 26, 1945, and since then has been available in all six official languages of the UN.
