After much controversy and ongoing drama on social media as well political front, the CBFC has reduced the number of cuts in ‘Udta Punjab’ from 89 to 13.
But the move which has seen accusation from both sides seems to have only come after the film makers decided to move to Bombay High Court on June 8 so as to get movie its due.
But even with CBFC reducing the number of cuts to 13, the film’s co-producer Anurag Kashyap claimed that ’13 pointers’ amounts to cutting or editing 94 scenes from the film’s narrative.
