Rahul Gandhi’s official Twitter account was hacked on the evening of November 30 by what appears to be a group of hackers called Legion. Some very offensive tweets were posted from Rahul’s account. The hackers also changed the name of the account and removed his profile picture.
Twitterati found this funny and went into an overdrive of laughter:
Did some one really hack his account or was #RahulGandhi high?

#RahulGandhi‘s account hasn’t been hacked, it’s just that for the first time he himself is tweeting from that account.

The hacking comes on the day when Rahul Gandhi and fellow Congress party members walked out of the Parliament claiming that they were not being allowed to read their obituaries for the soldiers who died in Nagrota terror attack. But Union Minister of Information & Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Speaker had only asked that obituaries will be paid once entire facts come to light as the combing operation was still on at the time.
Meanwhile, the Congress has condemned the hacking.
