There are numerous instances in Bollywood wherein the industry was being accused of getting “inspired” from the west. However, it seems that there is another side of the story as well. Popular American rapper T-Pain has been accused of plagiarism. The reason, well, he simply copied a tune from hit Bollywood movie Aashiqui 2. The tune has been used in the rapper’s new song That’s Yo Money. The used tune bears a striking resemblance to that of Arjit Singh’s song Tum Hi Ho. As per a media report, That’s Yo Money (released on December 13) is no longer available on YouTube. The report further mentioned that this is because T-series complained about the same.
Also, the official tweet having the song, which was shared by T-Pain has been removed from the micro-blogging site. However, it is available on the rapper’s official Instagram handle.
Take a look at T-Pain’s post from Instagram and do not forget to listen to the song:
Well, if you ask us, it is quite clear that the tune (presumably flute) which has been used in the background definitely reminds us of the Bollywood song Tum Hi Ho. And it seems that this resemblance didn’t go well with Twitterati.
Mithoon, who composed the song (Tum Hi Ho) even tweeted with respect to the same. Take a look:

As we said, Twitterati were not happy with what happened, hence they started criticizing the rapper. Take a look at some of the reactions which support the aforementioned:
Sir, the instrumental is simply a copy of #TumHiHo
