Thousands across India stood in long queues on November 11 trying to deposit, exchange or withdraw money from the banks. Some succeed while others failed. Some were pretty frustrated that they had to stand in long queues.
Noted political commentator Tufail Ahmad posted this:
We stand in queues at temples, railway stations and cinemas. Why can’t you stand in queue at banks and post offices for the nation’s sake.

And many agreed with him:
.@tufailelif Absolutely. Nation first!! Don’t play into hands of corrupt politicians who want ppl to feel frustrated& use it to disrupt this

@tufailelif Indeed.. I have personally stood for several hours in queue at Tirupathi .. This habit of complaining should stop

@tufailelif after a life time of lip service against black money, is it that hard to endure a few hour of hardship?

@tufailelif no complaints while we stand for hours for a Jio Sim, hell brakes out if it’s for the nation

This comment was bang on:
@tufailelif Better to face inconvenience for few days or even a month than for rest of life, lets give our future gen a better India!

Others too made the same point. It is indeed true that we willingly stand in long lines for movie tickets, a meeting with our favourite stars or even for the latest gadgets, so why complain now?
