Summer is here and so is the sweat and body odour. While we love almost everything about the summer season, we definitely hate how the weather becomes hot and humid. Our feet beg to be let loose during the hot season But we want to flaunt those beautiful sandals or kicky shoes.
While sweat glands help to keep our body cool, they tend to release moisture that creates an unpleasant and embarrassing smell. But now, you don’t have to feel embarrassed and hide away your feet. Here are few tips and tricks that can help keep the smell at bay and give you happy smelling feet this summer:
1. Shower everyday
Keep your body dry, clean and fresh by making sure that you shower every day. Add a few spoonfuls of Epsom salts, essential salts and baking soda to the bath water, it will keep you smelling aromatic and breezy. This will also stop the smell from building inside shoes.
2. New pair of socks every day
Change your socks every day to avoid smelly socks that can lead to smelly shoes and feet. The bad bacteria in socks can cause the bad odour. So keep your socks fresh and clean every day.
3. Use tea-bags
Freeze the used tea bags and use them to get rid of the shoe odour. When used on a constant basis, the tea bags can be helpful in keeping bad odour at bay.
4. Essential oils are ‘essential’

Since the odour comes from the bacteria that are formed due to the sweat, we can get rid of the bacteria with the help of baking soda. After a long summer day, sprinkle some baking soda inside the shoes and some on the feet. It will take the bacteria off the shoes and feet.
