Salman Khan’s movie ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has been one of the most anticipated films of the year. After a good opening the box office the film certainly lived up to the expectations of the fans and has already crossed the mark of Rs 200 crore in the first seven days of its release, becoming the second highest grossing movie in the year 2017.
Now, it has come to light that the movie has a special connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Director Ali Abbas Zafar revealed the secret connection of the film with Prime Minister Modi. Can you guess what it must be all about?
Actually, the plot of the film is inspired by the 2014 rescue campaign, in which India had saved 46 nurses from the possession of an Islamic State in Iraq.
That crisis had happened only a few days after PM Modi took office in May 2014. The Indian government had taken immediate steps and had been successful in bringing all its citizens back home safely.
Ali (film’s director) had been deeply inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s way of handling this sensitive situation and wanted to honor him through this film.
In fact, during an interview to a national daily, Ali revealed that in a scene where Paresh Rawal’s character asks Tiger (Salman Khan) if ‘PM Sahib’ is aware of the mission or not – originally ‘Modi Ji’ had been used in the film. However, since this film is a work of fiction, as per the Censor Board’s recommendation the dialogue was changed later.
