Baaghi 2, starring Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani has hit the silver screen on March 30, 2018, and the promotions of the film are in full swing. The action-thriller film has been running successfully on the box office by emerging as one of the biggest openers of 2018.
During the on-going promotions of the film, Tiger Shroff and his co-star Disha Patani were being interviewed by a leading media organisation, when the Heropanti actor encountered an oops moment which the social media will never let him forget.
It was during the interview when Tiger Shroff was asked the name of the current President of India and it turned out to be quite a difficult question for the actor. Once the question was asked, he took a moment to think about it, and after realizing that he doesn’t know the answer, he said, “Oh God! This is a tough one.”
He took some time to think about it and came up with an answer that was definitely a shocker for the interviewer and his co-star. Answering the question he said, “Mukherjee… Mr. Mukherjee”
This interview reminded the Twitterati about the infamous interview of Highway actor Alia Bhatt. She too mixed up the answer to the same question about the name of the President of India back then. She ended up getting trolled for a long time as she said that the name of the President of India is “Prithviraj Chauhan”.
After Tiger Shroff made the same mistake, Twitterati were in no mood to spare him. Take a look at some of the tweets:

Apparently, when the question was passed to his co-star Disha Patani who was sitting next to him during the interview, she also took some time to think and later said, “Ram Nath Kovind”.
Fortunately, she knew the correct answer or else she would have also ended been embarrassed like his rumoured boyfriend.
Tiger Shroff is being considered as yet another dumb actor, just like Alia Bhatt, who doesn’t know the general facts about the country.
Watch the interview here and see for yourself:
All the more interestingly, Tiger Shroff is about to be seen in the second part of the Student of the Year franchise by Karan Johar.
We hope that the actor stays updated on current affairs and general knowledge to avoid such embarrassment in future. What do you say?
