Britain’s PM, Theresa May, has released a new music video to attract Indians, ahead of June 8 polls.
This move is being considered as an attempt by Conservative Party to get backing from Indians living in the UK. The 2-minute video featured May in a saree visiting a temple in Bengaluru, meeting PM Modi and several leading Indians in UK.
In the background, a Hindi song with the lyrics “Doston, dhanyawaad, shukriya, meherbaani” and is named “Theresa ke saath” (With Theresa).
The president of Conservative Friends of India commented that this video will spread the message to millions of Indians living in the UK. In 2015, David Cameroon had also starred in one such video.
