At a time when atrocities perpetrated against women are at an all-time high, with workplace harassment being the talk of the town, a young blogger offers an easy yet extremely effective advice to all men who don’t know how exactly to treat women.
Anne Victoria Clark is a blogger and a comedian from New York. Fed up with seeing many men disrespecting women at the slightest excuse, she had the perfect solution to it all:
“Treat all women like you would treat Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.”
As known to all, The Rock has been one of the foremost wrestlers in the entire world and, well, simply imagining him to be in place of all women that a man would even think of molesting is enough of intimidation. And boy, this idea was applauded by so many people!
Clark shared her idea on the blog platform Medium and it became an instant hit. Around 31,000 people clapped on it (Medium’s equivalent of Facebook’s like) within just 24 hours! She later also shared her idea on Twitter:
I just published “The Rock Test: A Hack for Men Who Don’t Want To Be Accused of Sexual Harassment” https://t.co/tFl6tXqsKd

In her post, Clark urges all her friends, acquaintances and colleagues to treat any woman as they would treat the WWE champion, The Rock. And her post did not end right there.
She also explained her idea through three different scenarios, which were, well, simple and HILARIOUS! At the end of each scenario, she asks everyone to close their eyes and imagine the woman looking like Dwayne Johnson.
And the best part is, among numerous other people, The Rock himself was smitten by her piece of advice:

And JK Rowling, too, followed:

This is great! I hate that people NEED reminders like this but it is well-written!

This is a great hack. It makes me dream about a post by “The Rock” though on how to treat women.

“Are you a man confused on how to treat the women you work with?” Very first sentence identifies the subsection of men it is aimed at. Read.

Brilliant! This could work on the kind of mind that drives a mouth to say “I was raised in the 60s & 70s when this kind of thing was OK”

That’s quite a test!
