The journey of Mark Zuckerberg, a young and ambitious dropout from Harvard, has been a popular, as well as an exemplary, one. But prior to having planned Facebook, teenage Mark had no plans of quitting Harvard. In fact, he was quite thrilled about his selection in the Ivy League College.
On Thursday, Facebook founder and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg shared the video in which his father captured the moment when Mark got to know that he had made it to Harvard 15 years ago. The video went viral over the internet in no time with over 4 million views within 18 hours of upload.
Mark’s excitement on the selection clearly shows he had no idea that he would drop out of the University a couple of years down the line, leaving his degree incomplete. In one of the comments to a follower, he also said that his mother had predicted that he will drop out of college even before he began his graduation.
Sharing the video, Mark Zuckerberg wrote,
My dad took this video when I got accepted to Harvard. Next week I’m going back for commencement to get my degree.
