The Modi government has issued new currency notes to replace the old ones of denomination Rs.500 and Rs.1000. Long queues of customers wanting to either exchange, deposit or withdraw money were seen at ATM counters and banks.
Modi’s opponents, particularly Arvind Kejriwal, have been crying foul over the decision. Kejriwal even outrageously claimed that Modi government had informed their friends of the decision much before announcing it.
For some reason best known to him, Tarek Fatah tweeted this:
This is the new Indian currency Rs. 420/- note launched just for the residents of Delhi. pic.twitter.com/reJR9oCDKz

And many had a great laugh:
@TarekFatah @baburajvarma loved the governors signature. 🙂

What is noteworthy is that both Tarek Fatah and Kejriwal hold a leftist ideology. So given that their political ideology is the same, why did then Fatah troll the Delhi CM? That’s the question we don’t have an answer to.
