Tamilrockers is infamous for leaking pirated versions of popular Indian films. The website is shameless for leaking illegal versions and its last victim was Rajnikanth’s Kaala. The film’s climax was uploaded on the internet, much to the anger of the filmmakers. Producers spend crores over a good film, only for them to get leaked by such websites. This leaves them irked and running in courts over the legal woes. Even Rajinikanth’s movie wasn’t spared.

As far as ‘Kaali’ is concerned, the shooting spot stills were leaked on Tamilrockers. Rajini plays a notorious Mumbai gangster in the film.

There was even a ‘Quora‘ question on how this site works, to which the answer was that: if a producer finds out the particular studio, the studio in charge redirects it in way that their system is hacked, or it pin points some other staff members for taking copy of that movie.

Not just Kaala, even ‘Sanju’ got leaked online. Sanjay Dutt ‘biopic’ was leaked on the same day as its release, and soon after, #SanjuLeaked started trending on social media.

And now, the infamous piracy website has done it again – with India’s first Netflix original ‘Sacred Games’ as its latest victim.

The 8-episode series received a lot of praise for its performances by leading actors – Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Kubra Sait. This thriller set on gangsters and Mumbai police.

Netflix will definitely not be happy, as they are spending close to $8 billion in 2018 alone, on original content. ‘Sacred Games’ is available for watching on Netflix only.

It’s interesting to note that the series has been in trouble over defaming India’s former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi The petition of the complaint will be heard by the Delhi High Court.
