A newly-created terrorist group, Tahreek Taliban, put up posters on Friday in Sopore (Jammu & Kashmir) that warned all the telecom operators, cable operators, druggists, and so on, to wind up their businesses in the Kashmir valley within seven days, or be shot dead, reports India Today.
A few days ago, a group by the name of Lashkar-e-Islam not only warned all the telecom operators to shut down their businesses, but also attacked some of them, killing two people as a result. Now, this group (Tahreek Taliban) has put up posters calling the business anti-Islam.
Here is the translation of the message on the poster:
“We are appealing to Muslims to restrain themselves from the conspiracy against Islam. You are requested to follow Islamic teachings and we have the potential to finish anti-Islamic activities in the state and the world. You are aware of the mobile operations that we carried out and we are warning those people who:
1. Deal in fuel business for security vehicles
2. People selling and dealing drugs, narcotics
3. Cable operators
4. Those who provide shelter to outsiders
5. Those homes where gambling takes place
Quit these activities or face the consequences. Seven days deadline.”
