In this day and age of technology and social media, it is not uncommon to see celebrities getting trolled.
While the majority of these celebrities are known to ignore such tweets and comments on social media, there are few who believe in taking their fights head on and give it back to trolls and media then and there.
One of these celebrities who follows no bullshit policy is actress Taapsee Pannu, who in past has made headlines for shutting her trolls down with just one tweet.
Tapsee doesn’t care much about what others think of her and lives her life on her own terms. Over the years she has made it clear that she would not bow down to pressure and takes all her challenges head-on.
It was thus not a surprise when Taapsee slammed Republic TV for a tweet that was absolutely misleading and the story linked to the tweet had absolutely nothing to do with the headline they had written.
Republic TV carried out a piece on Taapsee’s upcoming movie, ‘Dil Juunglee’ and twisted the headline in such a way that it seemed that she had said ‘Yes’ for marriage.
While posting this story on Twitter they wrote – “Did Taapsee Pannu just say yes?”
Well, that was too much for Taapsee to bear and she soon slammed Republic TV with a perfect answer which not only put them in their place but also highlighted the fact that in the name of news, the media is no longer reporting sensible and credible stories rather chasing clicks and controversies around celebs.
Please go get a life 🙂
And some real news for a change 🙄 https://t.co/dGm4J2mOxV

Twitteratis too loved her response and were soon trolling Republic for their lack of sensibility.
Any chance that @republic can blame Congress for your tweet, may be TapC- Tap Congress 🤔🤔😹😹

That's how you get replies from the bold and beautiful people.

This channel had zero credibility to begin with. Its programming is tailor made for a specific kind of ultra conservative regressed audience. Its employees act more like Heckling goons than journalists. Thankfully, I blocked it in the first week.

Hahaha, nailed it. 😂😂😂
No more orders from the boss, let's play ping pong.
If ball returns, delete it & if not, that will be our news.😎
