When it comes to the most talented female actresses in Bollywood, Taapsee Pannu is one name that cannot be missed. For a number of years, the actress has worked in the South Indian Cinema before making it big in Bollywood. She has starred in “Pink” which proved to be one of her best performances so far.
In 2010, Taapsee made her debut in the world of cinema. She then starred in the film “Chashme Baddoor” which released in the year 2013. As per a report, Taapsee revealed some striking details about her journey in the entertainment world. She mentioned in a report:
“I was told, ‘You are not beautiful and glamorous enough’, ‘Oh no, you’re too serious an actor… ‘You’re not good enough an actor’, ‘You are not so and so’s daughter’. I was even told, ‘You are not a big marketable name.”
Taapsee’s sibling Shagun has also been working in the industry. The actress also revealed:

“Even though I haven’t gone through really bad things, as many have, this isn’t something I’d want my sister to go through. I love her most in the world. I am very possessive about her.”
Taapsee further mentioned, “it becomes easy for the younger sibling to feel like a part of the industry because the elder one has already fought the battle, paved the way and the family is convinced ki ‘Ek ne kar liya, toh theek hai’. I didn’t tell my sister that ‘you shouldn’t come into this acting industry, but yes, it was at the back of my head.”
On existing nepotism inside the industry, Taapsee had earlier quoted, “Nepotism and being an outsider are two sides of the same coin. It will exist until the time Bollywood exists; we will never get rid of it.”
On the work front, Taapsee will be seen next in “Dil Juunglee”. The second trailer for the film is already out!
