While we all heard of Hollywood superstar Sylvester Stallone’s son Sage Stallone’s tragic death three years back, what many don’t know is the fact that Sylvester and his son Sage were estranged at the time of the latter’s death.

According to News 18, Sylvester Stallone still sees his son since his death in 2012 and told this fact to a Vedic scholar Mishrapuri from Rishikesh whom the Hollywood star met last year.

On learning the fact the scholar, in turn, advised Stallone to do a ‘shradh‘ for his son, so as to give him peace, and Stallone immediately obliged and sent his half brother to Haridwar to perform the ritual for his dead son. Sage was 36 when he died.

According to media reports, Stallone’s half-brother Michael was not the only one to arrive in India. Michael was escorted by his wife and two others for this puja.

While the time of their arrival and puja are not yet known, it is believed that the family performed the ‘tithi shradh’. The said puja is done for the peace of those who meet their end through accident or murder.

While this trip was not made public, it is believed that Stallone has been extremely restless after his son’s untimely death and had attempted to get in touch with séances.

According to Mishrapuri, in his meeting with Stallone, the Hollywood star had asked if it is possible to speak to his son. Mishrapuri had told him of the date and time when the ritual should be performed.

Stallone, initially, had plans to come himself, but had to drop them for unknown reasons. He then asked his brother to do the ritual in his stead.
