If there is any politician after our Prime Minister who has garnered the love of the nation, it is Sushma Swaraj. The Minister of External Affairs of India is known to work her magic on Twitter. Love, family, medical issues, whatever your trouble is, if it falls in her department, then she will come to the rescue.
A Twitter user recently pleaded with Sushma Swaraj to help him bring his wife home from Pakistan. An Indian man got married to a Pakistani woman in April 2016 and since then the couple has been trying to get a visa.

Prompt with her actions, Sushma Swaraj gave a winning statement on the micro blogging site. With welcoming arms wide open, she said that Indian daughters and daughters-in-law from Pakistan are always welcome in India.

It is notable that she mentioned Indian daughters in her statement. In May this year, she rescued an Indian woman named Uzma from Pakistan. She was allegedly married forcefully to a man in the country. Sushma addressed her as “India’s daughter” and got her back home.
Uzma – Welcome home India’s daughter. I am sorry for all that you have gone through.

Her services in the public domain by picking up grievances straight from social media platform have helped Sushma connect with the youth as well. She has successfully been able to make her own place among the people from different backgrounds working through the grass-root level which has also formed a niche fan base for her.
