The external affair minister, Sushma Swaraj has once again proved that she is the best MEA India ever had. With the help of authorities, Sushma Swaraj has successfully rescued Salma Begum, a resident of Hyderabad who was reportedly sold and tortured in Saudi Arabia.
In her tweet, the minister has proudly announced that Salma begum will be returning to India soon.

Due to financial woes and debt, the 39 year-old chose to travel to Saudi Arabia on a housemaid visa in January this year. But she got tricked by the two agents identified as Akram and Shafi, who arranged her visa and promised to get her a work there.

The plight of Salma came to light when in an audio message to her daughter Salma revealed that the agents who had arranged her visa had sold her to the kafeel for 3 lakh. Moreover, the kafeel began exhorting her for marriage and when she refused, he subjected her to mental and physical harassment.
The foreign minister appreciated the Indian Embassy in the Saudi capital for helping her to rescue Salma within 72 hours.
