After Karni Sena’s attack on Sanjay Leela Bhansali for distorting the history of Rani Padmavati, Bollywood stood strong and united to support the ‘Padmavati’ cast and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Celebrities vented out their anger on Twitter but ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’ star Sushant Singh Rajput went a step ahead and dropped “Rajput” from his surname to show his support towards Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

This is what he tweeted soon after the attack…

But, wait! Sushant’s support was pretty short lived as “Rajput” was back again behind his name the very next day. Tweeple couldn’t hold back and mercilessly trolled Sushant for such “long support”.

Sushant even replied personally to some trolls with justifying tweets…

He even called these trolls paid!

Sushant even explained his one day protest against Karni Sena during a recent media interaction. He said,

Yes, I did it for a day to show that the unfortunate action is not what everyone with that surname endorses. They do not represent the entire Rajputs. There are ways to express your ideas, but violence is never an answer, and that too just on mere speculation. I am not changing my name that was a way to express that I don’t endorse the view of a particular group which claims to be the representative of entire Rajputs and probably India.

But Sushant, this actually is funny!
