Just like his own image, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaigns, too, are attracting the attention of the world.
To support his “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” (Save and educate girl child) campaign, international supermodels from all over the world arrived in Delhi on Saturday.
They carried placards in support of education for girls and spread awareness about the security of women.
The supermodels walked from from India Gate to Jantar Mantar as part of the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” walk.
It is important to note that in 2001 India’s sex ratio was 927 females per 1000 males, which dropped to 918 per 1000 males in 2011.
