Twitter can be a perilous place. Anyone can say anything about anyone without fear and guilt. The most problematic part is that there is no room for privacy. Everything is open, and very much public. Though Twitter is an independent and progressive medium to share your thoughts but very often, things go beyond control.
Yesterday, an unfortunate and shocking incident happened, which unveils the ugly side of Twitter.
Tamil television host and singer, Suchitra Karthik, tweeted a series of private photos of superstar Dhanush, Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Dhivyadharshini, Hansika Motwani, music director Anirudh and many others.
She tweeted these photos:

She further tweeted about her physical relationships with the actors:
Also, she told that she will leak more pictures soon:
It was primarily believed that her account was hacked and Suchitra Karthik, too, spoke the same with a leading TV channel.
My Twitter account has been hacked and I didn’t know that several private photos of celebrities had been posted on my page until Aditi Ravindranath, a friend of Dhanush, called me on Friday morning. I’ve hired a private investigator to find out who’s behind all this. My life is under threat. I’m not in a position to leave my home right now. So, I’m banking on a private investigator.
After she regained control over her account, she tweeted to clarify this unfortunate incident. Though her tweets deeply regretted the incident, but her tone was a bit odd.
She said that she won’t call the cops. Isn’t it weird?
Surprisingly, she asked the actors in the leaked photos to post their answers. What?
Her unusual tone created a lot of confusion because the line between her tweets and those posted by an alleged hacker was getting blurred.
Soon, people on Twitter started trending #Suchileaks. Everyone was afraid and equally curious to know what her next tweet would be.
This is what they tweeted:

After this whole chaos, this matter became clear only when a video of Suchitra’s husband Karthik became viral, where he pointed out that she is emotionally unwell, and hinted that she is possibly tweeting everything. There is actually no hacker.

It is also believed that Suchitra was unhappy with her professional life, and hence, insinuated against her competitors.
