With only a few days left for Karnataka Legislative Assembly elections 2018, all the parties are in the forefront to promote their election campaigns. As the elections are scheduled to take place on May 12, both the BJP and the Congress candidates are actively engaging in the debates to prove each other’s point-of-view wrong.
This time the renowned villain of the silver screen and an avid criticizer of the BJP government, Prakash Raj, came opposite to BJP MP Subramanian Swamy during a heated television debate organized by Times Now news channel.
While the debate started on a subtle note, it did not take much time for the tone of all the participants to change. As the actor Prakash Raj began to put his point-of-view opposing the BJP and PM Modi in the debate, people started bashing him out for his wrong political strategies.
The actor later presented a comeback saying he does politics in his own terms for the benefits of the citizens of the country. Later he claimed that he constantly asks questions to the political leaders of the country so that they remember that they are accountable to the public who voted them to power.
Replying to on the statements by Raj, Swamy said: “can do this only in India and not in Pakistan”. How the debate shaped next will leave you shocked.
Prakash Raj taking advantage of the situation tried to misquote the BJP leader by saying that whenever he asks a question to the BJP government, he is told to go to Pakistan by the leaders.
In return, Swamy responded by saying, “I did not ask you to go to Pakistan. I don’t think Pakistan will take you because they will not be able to adjust with you.”
The audience present during the debate rejoiced to this statement by Swamy against Raj.
Since Prakash Raj has always spearheaded a discussion opposing the BJP government, he could not come up with a better answer to the statement made by Swamy and ended up by saying, “Kuch Bhi”.
Raj even mentioned during the debate that Bollywood has stopped offering him roles in the films since he made comments against BJP government. Furthermore, he alleged that he is being targeted for raising his voice against the government.

Prakash Raj/Rai should have consulted me before face off with @Swamy39 .I would have advised him rather saved him from being thrashed by Swamy. There is a reason journos from NTDv, TheWire,Scroll, etc, stay away safe from Swamy. #KarnatakaNow

#KarnatakaNow I used to think that this Prakash Raj is an intellectual. But now it has turned out to be a stooge of Congress. As Congress is sure to fail in the coming elections, Sidha & team are using this fool to spread hatred.

#KarnatakaNow Someone should tell Prakash that Pakistan is still not ruled by BJP so he may think of moving there in case BJP comes to power in Karnataka as he reported to have said i will be unsafe if BJP comes to power.
