Actors Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are currently busy shooting for horror comedy ‘Stree‘ together. Director Amar Kaushik is at the helm of the movie with the Maddock Films banner producing it. Apparently, it is based on an urban Indian legend of ‘Nale Ba‘. As per the legend, a witch knocks on peoples doors at midnight and calls to them imitating the voices of their loved ones. And the person who opens the door dies within the next 24 hours.
Kaushik has sought to give this urban legend a funny twist in ‘Stree‘. Recently ‘Stree‘ cast and crew, reportedly shot in the Chanderi area of Madhya Pradesh. And what happened to them there is definitely fishy!

As per reports, while shooting on an abandoned road after midnight the team experienced some paranormal activities. A lot of strange things kept happening during the shoot which prevented the team from completing the shoot.
Just a day before the shoot, few locals warned ‘Stree’ director Amar Kaushik about the location. A media daily quoted Amar stating the same:

Kaushik further added, the team was on a tight schedule and had to wrap up the shooting, they went ahead anyway:
“Since we had to shoot a night scene, they were particularly worried. However, we went ahead with the shoot as the location perfectly suited our requirements but that particular night we faced a lot of difficulties while shooting.”
But little did the crew guessed that the locals’ worry wasn’t without reason. As per reports, all through the night, cast and crew kept running into technical difficulties. What’s even more surprising is that no one could figure out the reason behind the glitches. For example, the focal puller kept going out of focus for no reason. Also, the lights kept going off on their own.

The team was not able to shoot until the sun went up. Well, if this isn’t spooky we don’t know what is!
