A game is not a game if your team owner is not cheering for you. Megastar Shah Rukh Khan has decided to cheer for his team Kolkata Knight Riders for their final match against Mumbai Indians on May 13 at Eden Gardens.
KKR CEO, Venky Mysore, revealed,
You are going to see him (SRK) on Saturday. He’s coming with a big entourage. He’s looking forward to it.
Shah Rukh Khan has not been able to be there for his team much in the current season of IPL. He was last seen boosting the morale of KKR against Gujarat Lions at Rajkot last month.
Mysore added,
Shah Rukh came for the opening game in Rajkot and we had a really good result in that match (won by 10 wickets). Hopefully, he will bring back luck in our last game as well. We are really looking forward to it.
Mr. Khan’s presence at the stands has always shot up the ticket sales and VVIP passes which becomes a problem for the team to manage. Mysore commented,
AdvertisementI am thinking of going back and let Simon (Katich) handle the ticketing problem.
KKR is currently placed at second with 16 points, trailing behind Mumbai Indians.
