The world is mourning the loss of the first Bollywood female superstar, Sridevi (54), who passed away on 24 February 2018 in Dubai, where she had gone to attend the wedding of her nephew Mohit Marwah.
Her premature demise has sent shockwaves through the entire nation. Not only in Bollywood, in fact, Sridevi was also a popular actress in the South Indian film industry. She worked in over 200 films in different languages. People used to call her a multitalented actress as not only she used to get inside the skin of her roles, but she was a brilliant dancer and comic too.
Since the incident of her death came to light, there have been reports about how she must have died. While earlier it has been claimed that she died due to cardiac arrest, the latest forensic reports reveal another striking cause of her death.
According to a report by Gulf News, traces of alcohol have been found in Sridevi‘s body. The forensic report reveals that she died of accidental drowning.
It is also been reported that Dubai Police have released the forensic report on Sridevi’s death to her family and the Indian Consulate representative. This has entirely given a new possibility about how she must have died. An actress, who was just 54 years old and followed a strict health routine, so easily succumbed to a cardiac arrest? How? Is this also an inclination to the fact that this could be a murder? We will have to wait till more details come up on the entire incident. May her soul rest in peace!
