One of the celebrity contestants of Bigg Boss 12 is former cricketer Sreesanth. Although the cricketer-turned-actor isn’t a great fan of Bigg Boss, he did watch a couple of episodes. According to Sreesanth, he did not have a hard time conversing in Hindi, because his wife belongs to Rajasthan and his daughter also speaks to him in Hindi and over the years he has been used to speaking different languages. In the house, the former cricketer feels that he will be able to live with commoners and strangers. Assured to walking out of Bigg Boss as a winner, he had said that he believes in giving it all or nothing.

If you could recall, in December 2013 Sreesanth married his girlfriend Bhuvneshwari Kumari of Jaipur’s Shekhawat family. Both Sreesanth and Bhuvaneswari knew each other since the past 6 years.

In fact, on the grand premiere of Bigg Boss 12, Bhuvaneshwari got emotional while bidding him goodbye and requested the makers not to shave off his hair.

As per a media report, an astrologer has advised him not to shave off his hair and both the cricketer and his wife are quite particular about these things.

Since Sreesanth has had a tough time dealing with match-fixing allegations, it was not uncommon for his wife to request this to the makers. And we all agree to that. During the show, the cricketer got emotional and described his wife as his pillar of strength when the world ditched him after the spot-fixing scandal. The lady cried and he consoled her.

Reports suggest that when Sreesanth was in jail, his wife used to sleep in the kitchen. She did this as she wanted to feel the same difficulty that her husband was witnessing while in jail.

Following a 2013 scandal in the Indian Premier League, Sreesanth and two other Rajasthan Royals players were banned for life over alleged involvement in betting and spot-fixing. Criminal charges were later dropped, but the players remained banned for breaching the BCCI’s code of conduct. However, a single judge bench of the Kerala High Court lifted Sreesanth’s life ban for match-fixing. Sreesanth was acquitted for lack of proof.
