Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika which has hit the theaters on January 25 is really going well with the fans as well as critics. The film suffered the blows of controversies time and again. And whenever it did, we knew! Sonu Sood left the venture in the middle (due to professional reasons). The Tanu Weds Manu star took a jibe at Sood by stating that Sood had an issue with the project being helmed by a woman. However, Mohammad Zeeshan was the one who simply replaced Sood as Sadashiv Bhalerao.
As per a media report, Krish (who is the co-director of the project) alleged that Sood’s walking out of the project is because Kangana removed some scenes which featured Sood.
Interestingly, a clip has been doing its rounds on the social media, and apparently, this is how Sonu Sood would have made an entry in Manikarnika if he would have been a part of the venture. Naturally, the video is making headlines. See here:

We just got our hands on a video of @sonu_sood from Manikarnika. Reportedly, this is the scene Kangana Ranaut wanted Krish, the director, to remove from the film. Eventually, Sonu was told this scene wouldn’t make it to the final cut which lead to the actor exiting the period drama. . . . . #SonuSood #Manikarnika #PeriodDrama #Bollywood #bollywoodmovie #KanganaRanaut
The report also mentions that in an interview, Krish had mentioned that Sood as Sadashiv Rao would be entering the flick with a wrestling scene.
It further found Krish as saying,
“I remember when she saw the first cut the first thing she said even before praising the film was, ‘Sonu Sood is too overpowering na?’ Because as an antagonist, Sonu Sood was very strong. That’s how we had designed the film. For the protagonist to appear powerful, the antagonist has to be strong.”
Well, tell us, what is your take on this? Also, have you seen the movie already?
